Tory has extensive trial experience having successfully represented both entities and individuals in high exposure commercial and tort litigation. His experience includes insurance defense, self-insureds, and non-insurance matters. Tory’s primary practice areas include trucking, premises/Dram Shop, products liability, construction defect/property, professional and executive liability, coverage issues/bad faith and all areas of contract litigation.

Tory has defended many insurers in bad-faith cases as well as provided coverage analysis and opinions to both primary and excess insurers. He also assists excess insurance carriers in either monitoring high exposure cases and advising carriers on potential exposure (responding to Stower’s Demands) or assuming the defense of cases from other carriers/defense firms.
